sri NVS vadhyar,

dasoham.

1. In Srirangam koil panchangam, it is stated that the year followed in the

north of Vindhya parvatam is different year from the south. If the year in the

south is

parthiva varsham, then the year in the north of vindhya parvatm is vilambi (13

years apart). Is this true?

2. One vadhyar from Perunkulathur, Chennai said that in the USA, the sankalpam

is the same as in bharata varsham, especially, .. mero: daskhine parsve.. The

meru parvatam is above all kandams.

adiyen.

Usually I will not try to answer for the questions for which I don't know the

exact reply (answer) if it is asked commonly to the group.

The above two questions are directly addressed to me. So, this is necessary to

reply for this:

I am a " Kinantruth thavalai " . I know only Local (Tamil Nadu) Samacharams and

little thing that are discuissed in the Sastra books about my field (Vaideekam).

I had never seen cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkatta etc.

So, I regret to say that I don't know the exact answer for your questions.

Sri VAsu VAdhyAr swAmin,

Sorry for asking so many questions... but do you know what is

usually recited for sankalpams in the UK? I have been using " ViShNu "

as you suggested instead up until now.
