Guest guest
srI: Kamo karsheet " japam is not applicable to Sama Vedins. There are differences between sama, yajur, Rug veda in observing upakarma. Sama veda upakarma has very long tedious procedure. The yagopavita taranam is performed at the end after utsarjana tarpanam and rishi puja, homam etc for sama vedin. Same vedin performs upakarma in bhadrapada masam on hasta nakshatram. Yajur vedin performs yajur upakarma on paurnami tithi. Last year one swamin wrote about sama veda upakarma in oppiliappn in detail. hope this helps. dasan. --- rvv21 <ranjan wrote: > Dear SrimAn NVS swAmin, members, > > This is definitely my last question for this > year about > upaakarma.
