Guest guest
Dear Sri Vasu Vadhyar swAmin, I keep getting repeated messages in my email inbox saying " message not approved: Sankalpam - another doubt " . But I have not sent such a message, apart from the one which you approved some time ago (where I asked what is the sankalpam for UK). I think there may be some error, because I got sixteen such messages. There is no text in any of the messages, nor any attachment. Can you identify any reason why I keep getting these messages? They are coming from svknvs with the name " vasuvadhyar " . Is there a problem with this address? with praNAmams, Ranjan *** Well, This problem is not with me, but with you, I am receiving that much of mails from your mail ID with " Three Photos " which may be a virus. I am rejecting those mails to inform you that this much of mails are coming from you. I am having a snop shot (Print screen) image of your mail for evidence. Also I am getting the messages from " Dr.Sadagopanan's " mail ID. And I am doing the same thing. Moderator
Guest guest
Dear Sri Vasu Vadhyar swAmin, Thank you for letting me know, I will check my system for any problems. But this is a webmail address so I am not sure how it is possible for a virus to send mails from that address. For members information, I heard there was a virus some time back which pretends to come from someone else's mail ID, even if that person may not have the virus. The virus may get that mail ID from someone else's address book. So it may not be that I have the virus, but the virus may be coming from someone else who has me in their address book. Anyway perhaps it will be useful for all of us to check for viruses/install a new virus scanner, I will go and check this as soon as possible. with praNAmams, Ranjan **** I dont know the exact reason. But the virus mails are coming with your id in from address. We can check that only. ***

Guest guest
Dear Sri VAsu VAdhyAr swAmin, Just to inform you and the members (last email on this subject), I installed an updated version of McAfee VirusScan and checked my system, and VirusScan does not report any viruses on my system. So I hope you can be satisfied that this is not a virus on my computer. This problem seems to be affecting other lists, especially those where the messages are not moderator approved before posting. Would again urge us all to keep an eye out for these viruses (with a good virus scanner) as they can presumably spread like wild fire over email lists like these. Apologies for this interruption in the usual group discussions, with praNAmams, Ranjan ***Shri.Raguveerdayal Swamin had informed about this virus already. This virus can not be deducted by any virus protuction program. This virus will use the maild ID of a user who is often sending maill to a particular mail ID. And it will send three photos (which can not been seen) with that mail. nvs vaideekam , " rvv21 " <ranjan wrote: > > Dear Sri Vasu Vadhyar swAmin, > > Thank you for letting me know, I will check my system for any > problems.
