Dear Sadagopacahar Swamin,

Thank you very much for your support and understanding my feelings.

A shop / a course / a person / a department / a service etc. should have its own

limitation of dealings according to their capacity, ability and speciality.

So, according to this policy, as a Bruhaspathy who started this group wnated to

share his vaideeka knowledge with elders who are having more knowledge and

experience in this field, and wish to advice people who are very much interested

to perform the vaideeka karmas with most perfection or possible amount of

perfection.

Everybody know that I am having serveral tonnes of work everyday to complete. I

am not yet retired from my profession but I restricted to attend functions by

expecting some quality and job satisfaction.

So, within the limitted period of time I have to check throughly all the mails

from groups and look for the contents for perfection to avoid misguidance. I

missed to do so for few mails in the past and I got its product / result from

members.

Also I am not able to increase my knowledge in my own field because no

discussions held in that specific subject.

So, taking this opportunity to inform all members kindly discuss more relavant

matters to encourage me.

Also, I am ready to give the moderator post to anybody to manage this group. I

can also give my suggestions if required.

adiyen appreciates swamin's standing up for the goals

of group. vaideekam eGroup is unique in that the goal

is to teach the vaideeka knowledge to others who do

not have. In the early days, the elders have some

knowledge about various rituals. adiyen agrees with

swamin 200%. The other info is always posted to many

eGroups where some of us are already members.

adiyen has a couple of doubts on deviations of old

customs. Before 1990's vadhyars used to make upavitam

from spinning cotton into thread and by chanting

mantrams to make knots. Why do vadhyars make upavitam

from twine thread now? How come tarpam (kucha grass)

is sold in the stores by any one?

adiyen did not write these to hurt anyone's feelings

of the group or vadhyars.

Namaskarams,I agree with you in two hundred percent and to your views on the dependency of our group on external content. Not only is the content resilence on the group in terms of truth and veracity but also the availability and other political undercurrent or commercial vien or strings attached might have a salient side effect on the hosting page like us too.That is the possible reason, many of the websites like HSBC, Microsoft too have a clear term defined in thier Hyperlink Policy that they indemnify themselves from any links arising out of their networks and they claim it was given purely for navigational ease; nothing more and nothing less.With a spurt of spam in Groups, I also feel that a robust moderation is a definite order of the day, despite the fact that Groups does not have an inbuilt 'SpamGuard' and a SpamBIn for the incoming messages.Deepak Vasudevanhttp://www.lavanyadeepak.tk/http://viewsreviews.wordpress.com/91 98400 26014-------
