Thank you very much for the wonderful clarification which will of use to many

who are like Sri.Kannan. As rightly said, something is better than nothing. You

have given a method where absolutely everyone can do it wherever they are

(mentally/spiritually if we change our place to our home and perform the nithya

karma).

 

I am sure there will not be any papams/dhoshams in suggesting this because you

are showing the way with a small candle light when the room is totally dark.. I

wish and pray that all the punyams and almighty's blessings will be on yours so

as to continue to guide our group well.

One of our member suggested about the 'Praayachitha Argyapradhanam' which is not

aplicable for late more than an hour. Also this prayachitham can used rarely,

for unavoidable and unexpected circumstances.

When I undertake long journeys in train ( say to Delhi orBombay), I use the Maanasa Sandhyaavandhanam method. This , I startedpractising as Aapathkaala Method, suggested by my Guru Sri SeshadriRaman Swamy of Villivakkam.

However this is to be used only in case ofemergencies only.

 

I remember the olden days when , as a student, Iused to go the cinema theatre, and after coming back home say about 10PM, my father insisted me doing the Saayam Sandhyaavandhanm withKaalaatheetha Praayaschiththa Argya Pradhaanam.

I feel verypleasure to read your message.

 

You can do the sayam sandhya vandhanamin your office itself. I think that you will get permission to go outfor 10 minutes. I hope all office will have a open terrace, you need notwear any dhothi etc. You can use the terrace do the sandhya vandhnamwith a tumbler of water (which you are using to drink water, or you cankeep a tumbler for it in the terrace itself). If you do not feel ashameyou can just remove your shirt fully or even open only in the frontside, or leave it as it is. If you don't have thiruman srichurnam inyour forehead, just wear them using the water.

 

If you feel it is nota possible suggestion do as below:

No need to tell anybody what you aredoing. You can tell everybody that I am doing some meditation practiceeveryday for ten minutes in a particular time 6 to 6.10 pm. And just sitin your seat itself. Put off your mobile and table phones for that fiveminutes. Close your iyes. Send your virtual body to your house. Let itdo the Sayam sandhya vandhanam there with the help of your dhyanam(meditation). Bring your virtual body to your office after thecompletion of sandhya vandhnam and open your iyes. Continue your duty.It is not found in the sastrams, but it will be worthful what Ihope.

 

We can apply the procedure given for some other things :

Whenone is not able to the real snanam the Sastram insists to perform amaanasa snanam which is better than a real snanam. Likewise maanasaaaradhanam is said as better than physical thiruvaaradhanam.

But yourmind should accept it.

Something is better than nothing.

Also I praygot to add all dhoshams (Paapams) to my account if any for suggestingthis.

Respected Mama,

 

You opened my eyes yesterday. NOrmally I visit a temple in Tamil Nadu once in a

month. But during this month, I could not make it.

 

I was little upset because of this break.

 

After reading your mail I tried virtual visit to the temple and It gave me great

satisfaction. I feel blessed.
