Guest guest
Namaskarams to respected Vasu Vadhyar, and all members. I did not see an answer to the question I'm about to ask, but if there is, please forgive me for missing it. I live in the U.S., near the West Coast in the Pacific timezone. According to the NASA, and other webpages, it seems that the Chandra Grahanam (lunar eclipse) will not be visible in the U.S. As such, are the normal practises of Chandra Grahanam still to be observed? Should I still worry about darbhai in food, clothes, etc, and the snaanams + japams associated with the grahanam? A timely response would be most appreciated, as there is only one day between my typing this email and the grahanam. Thank you in advance. Sreekanth *** Grahana procedures will be applicable only for the places where the 'Grahanam' is visible. Also adding dharbai to foods is only a olden day habit of few people, I did not find any wordings in any sastra for it. (If anybody found can suggest me the book for my reference.) nvs
