Guest guest
SrI: Sri NVS swamin, dasoham. adiyen thanks swamin very much for the time and (scribe) effort to answer the doubt in clear way. Swamin mentioned to do the Mahalaya paksham to the next month, if one has to do pitru (mata, pita) sraddham. adiyen is doing masiyam every month for adiyen's sannihita bratha. Can adiyen perform mahalaya paksham after sraddham? Swamin has mentioned " phala Aharam " in the evening or entire mahalayam for sakrun mahalayam. Is the phala Aharam a fruit or iddli, dosa etc? Respects & regards dasan. *** Doing masyam to brother will not taken into account for Mahalayam, also (in Nrusimhapriya itself) indicated, that the person who is doing masyam also should perform mahalayam. In this case, if the masyam is in the krishna paksham, then you can do the mahalayam after that masyam. You are having time upto sukla paksha panchami. The term " Phala Aaharam " means only fruits, but we are taking " Upa Aaharam " in the name of " Phala Aaharam " which means tiffin. nvs

Guest guest
srI: For US, one of my friends told me that there is nothing wrong to use what is being followed in India. " meroho " meru mountain is above bhoolokam. Hence the sankalpam is still valid, he said. For unknown, vishnu nama is substituted. dasan. --- kvrajan rajan <kvrajan115 wrote: > Sri NVS Swamin, > > > I just landed in UK and could you help me with the > workds on " masa tharpanam sankalpam " while doing in > London.......I know that we should not use Daksina > parshuve and other related words......... > >
Guest guest
srI: sri NVS swamin, dasoham. In Mahalaya paksha sraddha sankalpam and /or trapaNam, kaaruneeka pitru is mentioned? Who are kaaruneeka pitrus and what are their gotrams? How do we say the tarpaNam (like vasu, rudra, aditya swaroopa?) Thanks for the response.
