tharpanam after maasiam?

Dear Vasuvadhyar, Namaskaram. Adiyen has one more question.

Is a tharpanam to be performed on the day after every maasiam?

If the maasiam is during Mahalaya paksham (as in my case), there is

also the mahalaya tharpanam to be performed on another day?

*** Chradhaanga Thila tharpanam is to be followed (to be performed) only from

the 'Prathyaapthikam'. 'Apthikam' means the Chradham done at the completion of

the first year (from the date of death.). Prathyaapthikam means the chradham

done from the second year onwards.
