Guest guest
Respected Sir : We live in California.I have question about Hiranya shrardhams. We have our father inlaw's devasam falling sometime next month. Here the priests from the temples agree for only hiranya shrardhams as the temple rule suggests that they cannot enter temple ,if they partake food at such occassions.Hence they are insisting on performing hiranya shrardham. I am a little confused as I hail from a very religious family and I have seen my parents performing my grandfather's ceremony with due respect and sincerity in India. Please clarify, if the above method is correct. With all due respects Jaya ***You can ask the priests to be only as Bruhaspathy, and you can request your brahmin friends or relative to partake food. In worst case only you can choose the Hiranya chradham, which can be treated as somthing is better than nothing case. I came to know that there are many places in America people are doing the chradhams perfectly by doing all homams, and many preists are there to do it. Our group members will help you by suggesting some other places to do the chradham perfectly. nvs
