Thirythuzhai is the traditional name given to tulasi. just like BADARIVANAM WHY NOT THIRUTHUZHAIVANAM ?! IN CHENNAI Tulsi is cultivated like Keerai as a short term crop, harvested for leaves in a few weeks and again the land retilled! In north tulsi sticks are used to make tulasi malas, even Meerabai wore tulsi mala! i would like to associate MYSELF with this tulsivan project since i am doing tulsi malas and distributing to bagavatas.
