Guest guest
Respected Swamin, AdiYen has following questions regarding vaideeka rituals. Your guidance is a blessing. I see Agni Mukham in two procedure. One Vaideeka Vidhi, like prathishta paatra saadanam etc..and the other with Tantrika vidhi with agni chakram drawing, avakunta mudra etc.. 1. When is the vaideeka vidhi applied. When is the Taantrika Vidhi used. 2. Both the above have same way of ending with paridhi praharanam, Jayaadi etc. Is that so or does taantrika vidhi has its own way of ending. *** Your Question itself is indicating that you know there are different types of Prayogams. I know only about Gruhya Sutram which is used for gruhasthas, to perform functions like upanayanam, vivaham, gruha pravesam etc. I dont know anything about the thanthreeka vidhi. *** 3. If the yajamaana wishing to perform Homam does not have Yagnopaveeta (Like from Other 2 Varnas other than Shudra) then how is the homam conducted. *** The Yajamana can do upto sankalpam even if he doesnt have yagnopaveetham, but the sankalpam should end as Aacharyamukhena kaarayishye. Then the yajamana should make a request to the acharya to perform the karma on behalf of him by giving the Dharba mushti to the acharyan(which means Aacharya varanam). *** 4. How far is it justified to put the yagnopaveeta just before the event for non brahmana varnas other than sudra. *** I know that Kshatriyas and Vysyar can wear Yagnopaveetam but i donno the procedures for that *** 5.Beore any homa for example Mrityunjaya homa, is there a specification that the yajamaana has to do the corresponding mantra japa so many times in multiples of ahutis being given. *** If the Yajamana is willing to do so, we can ask him to chant some slokas other than veda which are related to that karma *** My Gratitudes.
