Guest guest Posted January 23, 2007 Report Share Posted January 23, 2007 Namaskaram, I am employed abroad.Due to various reasons beyond my control, i could not perform the Upanayanam of my only child my son.His date of birth 27/7/1989 .Can I perform his Upanayanam during July 2007, when I will get time to visit India. Is there any Pariharam for the delayed performance of the Upanayanam. we are very religious and we want to conduct the Upanayanam in the best manner possible. For your reference: After the completion of Udakasaanthi, Ankuram and Prathisaram Oupaasanam will be performed, then a homam called " Paahi thryodasakam " will be performed four times.
