Dear Sri VAsu VAdhyAr swAmin,

I remember some time ago that you had put up some very useful

images of how to make pavithrams (and koorchams?) on the ahobilam.com

website. I was searching the old messages to find the web address for

those images, but the only ones I could find said " file not found " .

Can I request that you direct me to their new web address if they

are still online, or perhaps put them back on the website? I

particularly do not know how to make a 'koorcham', but the pavithram

images would also be very useful.

Am I correct in thinking that a koorcham is used to do aavaahanam

of Vishvaskenar for Vishvaksena poojai?

thanks and praNAmams,

Ranjan

***

Fold few dharbhams in the middle such that to make a small ring in the middle

and clockwisely turn two or three times arround the ring and make a knot there.

It is called koorcham.

Tow dharba koorcham is called 'Aayamadham'

Four dharba koorcham can be used for Aavahanam of (Any) devatha including

Vishvaksena.

11 / 15 / 21 dharbha koorchams can be used as a spoon to do dheertha upacharams

and prokshanam.

Note:- Due to attend the college everyday 11 to 4 pm I am unable to manage the

website (ahobilam.com). Now it has sivear server problem. Files are often

disappearing and we are uploading them often with great trouble.

I hope and expecting the blessings of Emperuman:

Another 100 days, I will complete my course.

Then I will continue to manage the website with complete control.
