How many days of theettu we have to observe? 2. When can we resume doing poojas etc.? 3. We are Smaarthaas following Yajur Vedaa and I am living with my family in the USA 4. My elder brother too is no more. I will be thankful for your advice and guidance. Namaskaarams Ramakrishnan *** 3. There is no such difference in Sastram as Smartha / Vaishnava Sastram has only the following four divisions: 1. Brahmana (All brahmins are coming under this category ) 2. Kshathrya 3. Vaisya 4. Soothra 2. No need to resume, you can continue to do it without break. 1. There is no theetu for others except the Father in law and mother in law in the case of a death of a son in law. nvs
