Guest guest
Respected Swamin For the Chandra Grahanam, in the panchagam and other religous magazines they indicate the four timeings viz. start (aaramabam), sparsam, madhyam, moksham and end. What it the difference between 'aarambam' and 'sparsam'; similarly between 'moksham' and 'mudivu' (end)? For soorya grahanam I do not find the 'aarambam' and 'mudivu'. Only three phases - sparsam, madhyam and moksam - indicated. Why this difference? What is the signigicance in following the riturals by ladies and gents? May I request to be clarified please. Respectfully, GJ *** sparsam, madhyam and moksam -- these three are enough to indicate the status of grahanam. Aarambam and Sparsam are the same and Moksham and mudivu are the same. They might have given the tamil word to understand the samskrit word. I could not understand your question " What is the significance in following the rituals by ladies and gents " ? Which ritual? Generally or particular about Grahanam period? I tried to understand your question as : " What are all the rituals to be performed by ladies and gents during the period of Chandra grahanam and Surya grahanam? " am I right? Kindly explain and confirm to give the correct answer. nvs
