In case of my sister, my eldest nephew gave tarpam to

his younger brother to perform the monthly karyam in

India. I understand that the eldest brother can give

tarpam (Agnai) to his next younger brother to perform

masa karyam. Depends upon where the person lives in

USA, the monthly karyam can be done at least in Ama

roopam.

No need of giving dharbham and all in the case of a younger (own) brother is

doing the masyams.

 

We can consider it as the masyams have been done, but

for the account of that elder brother it will be treated as not done.

 

 

A capaple person can not request one to do chradhams by giving dharbham on any

condition. Giving dharbham is only elegible for ladies and 'unupaneetha'

karthas, in the case of a gent, if a person who is unable to perform the

chradham, the person who is in the next order is getting the right automatically

as per sastram.
