Salagramams - Reg.

Dear Respected Vaidheekas,

 

I like to know the various types of Salagrmams and how to

differentiate them. Further, how could we identify the real

Salagrama murthi's from the fake ones?

 

Last year I bought some Salagramam from Giri Tradings at Mylapore. I

read some books and my doubt is not cleared.

 

Also, I learned that in some kshetras, the murthy is of Salagramam.

How the diety is made of Salagramam ?

 

Further, I was told that one should not buy Salagrama Moorthy from

Shop by paying. One should get from temple or from Mutt.

 

I request the Learned members not to mistake me and kindly clear my

doubts.
