Guest guest Posted April 2, 2007 Report Share Posted April 2, 2007 Dear Sir, I belong to SUNDARAPANDIAPURAm AN AFFLUENT VILLAGE IN tIRUNELVELI DISTRICT and our prime temple deity is SRI RAJAGOPALASWAMY with Sreedevi and Pothevi. Accoding to agama sasthra, only VAIHANASAM priests should only do puja in our temple. Now nearly fo the last 4/5 years, only a smarha boy is doing the puja. The earlier priest (vaishnava) was rather unceremoniously sent out with the result his clan are unwilling to come for puja in our temple. Is it right that other than vahanas vaishnavite can do puja. Will it not be breaking the traditionns and does the SUPREME LORD will accept the worjship by other than a vaihanasa priest. Request your advice and guidance. Please offer your valuable suggestion.
