gruhapravesham/agnisanthanam pdf overlay - and question on mandapa

Dear members,

 

Sorry for this late answer to this question. I think the overlay

given in these PDFs is not removable - I think you have to contact Sri

Vasu Vadhyar swamin to get different versions of these PDFs without

overlay.

 

Regarding the gruhapravesha prayogam, I notice there is a section

where we bless the pillars, with manthrams like " dakshina sthuuNa

raajaaya namah.... aavaahayaami, ...samarpayaami... " , etc. What is

the main significance of this section?

 

I am also learning about pre-wedding ceremonies to help a

Gujarati friend of mine with preparations before his wedding. One

part of their 'graha shaanti' ceremony is called 'Mandapa Ropan' where

they put up the mandapam and bless it. I wondered if this is similar

to what is mentioned above. I have learnt the puja/homa for the graha

shaanti but am not sure about the ritual for the mandapam. Is it the

procedure similar to what is given in the gruhapravesha prayogam?

Could any of the learned members clarify? I would be very grateful.
