There are plenty of Muhurtha dinams during

the time period that you mention.

 

Here at USA , May 18, 20, 21, 23, 27 , June 5 , 10 ,11 ,

17, 18 and 20 .

 

The proverb to remember is :

 

" Subhasya Seegram " .

 

Please go to a nearby dhivya dEsam

( ThiruvallikkENi, Thiruvidaventhai ,

Thiruneermalai , ThiruveLLUr or Kaanchi if you

are living in Chennai or to ThiruviNNagar,

Srirangam if you are living closer to Trichy)

and have the NischayadArTam performed

inside the temple and come home and have

a social event .

 

You can also have it done at AchArya Sannidhis

dependign on your AchArya Paramparai and VaidhikAs

can bless you thru their participation .

 

Two AmavAsyais and Agni Nakshathram in the context of

NischayadhArtam does not make any sense to me .

Namaskarm to Swamin

 

We are planning to have the NICHIYATHARTHAM function for my daughter's

proposed marriage. Some people say that from 3rd May to 29th May, it is

a period of AGNINAKSHARAM and hence during this period nichiyathartham

cannot be conducted. Is it true. Further they say that during this

vaikasi month there are 2 amavasais and hence during this vaikasi month

also nichiyathartham cannot be done. Hence from 3rd May to almost to

the middle of June, the period is considered by these persons as not

good for nichiyathartahm. It is some what practically difficult to keep

the nichiyartham so long deferred once the willings from both side for

the alliance is expressed. Should a simple function as nichiyathartham

should undergo such rigorous yardsticks as for marriage functions? Can

learned swamins help us out.
