Guest guest
Can anyone send me a downloadable link of B.V.Raman & B.V.Lakshmanan's Mannupugazh Kosalaindhan song. Or if anyone can post it in the website, i will be very grateful. I have tried in all the music shops and this cassette or CD is not available and has become extinct. Thanks in advance, Prasanna Soundararajan

My dad is really happy to find this downloadable link and we could enjoy this music very well. Thanks once again. Hope iam not bothering you more. Similarly, Will there be any downloadable links for Mantrapushpam (Iyengar type)by Iyengar Vaadhiyars, Venkatesa Suprabatham by M S and Lakshmi Ashothiram by M S. This is not urgent. Please take your own time. Sorry for bothering you. Thanks & Regards, Prasann
Guest guest
Dear Sri Prasanna, I may be able to suggest something for the mantrapuShpam audio you requested. When you say Iyengar type, do you mean 1) " yo'paam puShpam veda, puShpavaan prajaavaan pashumaan bhavati... " ityaadi or, 2) " agnimiiLe purohitam yagnyasya devam ritvijam " ... ityaadi As far as I understand it, the first one is what is commonly called " manthrapuShpam " by smaarthas and also many Iyengars, and it is taken from Arunaprashnam (in Krishnayajurveda Taittiriya Aranyaka I think). There is a version of this which you can listen to online at: http://www.musicindiaonline.com/music/devotional/s/album.429/language.10/ You can click on any of the links on that page to get Mantrapushpam audio, recited by different paNdits. (To my knowledge there is no difference between how Iyengar/Iyer/Smartha paNdits will recite this mantrapuShpam). It is not downloadable though, but you can listen straight from the website. The second one, beginning with " agnimiiLe... " is what is I think used in Srivaishnava (Iyengar) aaraadhana and often called " mantrapuShpam " as well. It consists of the beginning four manthrams from the four Veda samhitas, and extracts from upanishad, itihaasam, dharmashaastram, puraaNam, stotrams. I don't know of many links which have all of this as audio. But the following website gives full procedure for Srivaishnava bhagavadaaraadhana and gives some parts in audio: http://www.srivaishnavam.com/aradhana.htm#mantra%20puShpam.h Click on the " Audio " link at the top of that section. The audio quality is not that good though. M.S.Subblakshmi's Lakshmi Ashtottaram can be found also at www.musicindiaonline.com: http://www.musicindiaonline.com/music/devotional/s/album.421/language.10/ Also MSS's Venkatesha suprabhaatam: http://www.musicindiaonline.com/music/devotional/s/album.475/language.10/ There are a few errors in the audio there, but nothing too serious. Hope that helps, I request any members to correct any incorrect information given here. with praNAmams, namO nArAyaNa Ranjan vaideekam , " Prasanna " <prasannasoundarleo wrote: > > Dear Sir, > > Thank you so much for the website of Mannupugazh song by the BV > brothers.
