Guest guest
Sri: Respected Sri NVS swamina:, Adiyen has a doubt regarding tarpanam. Normally for an adhikari there are uddishtas, six pitrus and their patnis. If one or more of the pitrus had second wife, then is it necessary or optional according to scriptures to give another tarpanam in the name of the second wife also? Kindly clear the doubt with examples if possible. This question applies to the duty of the sons of both wives as stepsons. Dasan Ramanuja *** The son of that second wife only should do tharpanam for his mother. The other wife's sons are not necessary to do, because their will be one person in one roopam. But in Naandhi chradham we are doing as : " Sapathineeka madhu: " . I am not confident with the given answer, so, I check it out and let you know the correct one later. nvs
