Dear Bakthas, Adiyen would like to share the views expressed on the following Pasurams: ARAVUNEEL KODIYON AVAIUL ASANATHAI ANJIDATHEYIDA ATHARKU PERIAMAMENI ANDAMOODURVA PERINTHIADANGIDA NIMIRTHON VARAIEN MAMANIUM MARAGATHATHIRALUM VAIRAMUM VETHIRUMUTHUM THIRAIKONARNTHUTHUNTHIVAYAL THORUM KUKVIKKUM THIRUKANNKUDIYL NINRANAE. PERIA THIRUMOZHI 9.1.8 Kannan represents Pancha Pandava and comes as a messengar. Duriyodhana comes to know of this and he wants to take a revenge on Kannan. He makes an underground and keep the seat where Kannan will be offered when he comes. In the underground he keeps mallars. Do you know the meaning of mallars - those who do mall yudham, they will be bulky with big shoulders and wear oil throughout their body so that the other person who is fighting with will not harm him, but he crush him with

his body and twist him. Why I am tellling this is that one has to visualise in their mind what the mallars are going to do with Kannan when he fells down from his seat. This is the order of Duriyodana and they cannot refuse. Even in the present day army acctions, the souldiers have no option but to obey their masters when they are ordered to do something, even to shoot, and cannot question his superiors. Duriyodana also ask the kings who have assembled in the court not to raise from the seat when Kannan comes and they are pale on the orders but could not refuse him. With (out) knowing Kannan arrives at the court, Duriyodhana without his knowledge raise from his seat and ask Kannan to come which was beyond his control. This is because of HIS MAYA. Kannan looks at the Kings (mupatthu moover) and their face is filled with fear, but at the same time wants to show him thier inabilitiy to invite HIM with poorna kumbam and offers thru

thier mind whichs nothing but athma samarpanam. As planned, Kannan sits on the chair, fells down and goest to the underground, fight with the mallars and comes back with VISWASWAROOPAM which is seen by every one in the court except Duryodhana. Even Dirudharashtran could see this and tells Kannan still he wants to be blind else he will not be able to order his son as he will not oblige. The same incident is described in the Pasuram of Thiupavai (20) which reads like this: MUPATHU MOOVER AMAR AMARAKU MUN SENRU KAPPAM THAVIRKUM KALIYE THUILEZHAI Andal has taken this incident in the Mahabaratha in the above Pasuram and kappam thavirkum - meaning bayathai pokum, as they were very tense when Kannan arrived in the Court and could not offer HIM Poorna kumbam because of orders of Duryodhana. Once they saw HIM IN VISWASWAROOPAM their fear had

gone from their mind and thank HIM. Adiyen is overwhelmed with these Pasurams and wants to share with the Bakthas. Eventhough the discription is not vivid, leave it to the Bakthas to visualise in their mind what would have happened in such a situation. One can easily place himself in the role of Kannan and others and enact the situation. Pardon me if anything is wrong. adiyen, nochalur seshadri sampath.
