Guest guest
Dear Bakthas, Nornally we give importance to Mothers only as per our Vedas and Pasurams like the few: Matha Pitha Guru Deivam Annaiyay Athanay Ennai Andidum (Pasurm 4 of Kanninen Siruthambu) etc., But have you heard Azwar starting with Athanai in Pasurm 115 of Thiruchandaviruttam which reads like this: Athannagi annaiyagi alum embiranumay othaovathapalperipozithu nammai atkolvan muthanarmuganthanar pugundunammunevenar ethinal edarkadalkidathi? ezai nenjame. The word Athanagi has been used by Azwar Thiurmazaipiran in his Thiruviruttham because before birth of a child VINDU remains in the body of man for 2 months and thebalance of 8 months in the womb of Mother. Can anyone comment on this? adiyen, nochalur seshadri sampath.
Guest guest
Swamin, A very detailed narration is available in " Acharya Ramamrutham " a compilation of Ramayana discourses by HH Thirukkudanthai Andavan now being published in " Sri Ranganatha Padhuka " . If you have missed it or if you have any difficulty, please log on to http://thiruppul.blogspot.com or http://rajamragu.spaces.live.com where it is available under " Panniru Matham " (in Tamil). Sri R.Srinivasan is correct in his replydasan,T.Raguveeradayal
