Recently one of our relatives had given me one more which is just brought from the holi place saligramam. It is in its fresh form and not yet galvanized as per Vaideeha kramam. As I desire to initiate the same,I request you to please enlighten me about the activites I should perform. I also request the learned vidvans to suggest a suitable (auspicious day) day to perform the same in the days to come (near future). Thank you in advance, Adiyen, V. One boy who dropped his vedha adhyayanam in the middle and came to me and requested me to keep him with me till he get practiced in the vaideeka prayogams. Kindly let me know from which day, I can start giving food for him? The question which I asked may feel/show me as made?! Saalagramams are not vigrahams, which requires no prthishtai and all. The deivya saannithyam is already there in every saalagrama moorthi. It should be put in pooja on the next it reaches us. No auspicious day is required for it.
