Guest guest
Respected Swamin, Namaskaram. While performing the Parvana Srardam what type of agni is used. Is it Vaidka Agni or Loukika Agni. Does it have the Jayadi. If not how is the Homam ended.... Agni Mukha Antam With Regards Venkata Krishnan *** The agni is depends upon the kartha. If the kartha is married, then he should do it with his aupasana angni which is called vaideeka agni. If the kartha is a brahmachari he could do in the lowkika agni which is also Parvana homam. If the kartha is a widower, then he also do start from the parvana homam onwards. Who ever be the kartha, the method of parvana homam is " Mukhantham " It does not requires or insisted jayadhi. Prayachiththa homam (Anajgatha thryam, Thvanno anne, Sathvanno agne, Aabhirgeerbhi:, Idhamvishnur, vyahruthi-4). is the end of this parvana (mukhantha) homam. nvs

Guest guest
Adiyen dasasya vignaapanam. After participating in voting, I would like to share my thoughts in this regard and I do hope that I will not be mistaken. In my view, this poll seems to be unnecessary in as much as that almost all of us do not mind the Government orders in religious or Sampradhaya matters. On many aspects, nothing can change us. Otherwise, either following the advices of several AcharyALs or adhereing to G.O.s we would have stopped the evil practice of dowry and other related items, for example. And how can one be sure that in future, Thai One alone will be the start of a new year? When there is a change of Government, especially in Tamilnadu, it has become an ugly practice to revert whatever the previous government ordered. And as such, there is every possibility that this also will find an end soon. dasan, T.Raguveeradayal *** Dasan Swmin, The Varusha pirappu is mostly connected with our vaideekam or rituals. So, that I raised question about it. And more over, as you have indicated in your message, we also understood about the Tamil Nadu politics. We (I) do not want to enter in that matter. But I wish to know about the people's mind on this regard. That is all. dasan, nvs
