Guest guest
*** I am sending the copy of this message to tvp7 which is the email ID of Shri. T.V.Padmanabhan advocate residing at Kodambakkam, Chennai. He recently went to Gaya and performed shradham there. Recently he posted his experiences as mail message through our vaideekam group. He will send you the copies of those mails, and he can suggest you personally. Meore over for your information : Gaya Shradham is no way connected with normal shradham what we are doing in homes. Doing Gaya shradham is an additional impact / satisfaction to pithrus and self athma. But it is not a solution to finish the shradha karma. for ever. It is not at all necessary for a " Prapannen " to perform Gaya shradham, because it is not a nithya karma. Nithya karma means, a karma which should not be left as per sastram and which will give raise to dhosham or papam are called nithya karma. So, those type of nithya karmas are to be performed by a Sri Vaishnavan, and those karmas also to be performed without expecting any kind of phalan out of it. Also, for general matters kindly use the group email ID than personal email ID by which other members also can acquire some knowledge. nvs On 7/25/07, raghunathan r <rraghunathan_in wrote: > > Swamin, > > Thank you very much for this kind of personal letter to all those who > intend to join the Group. Guest guest
srI: srimate Ramanujaya namaha Dear Sri NVS swamin, dasoham. 1. It is very difficult to moderate a eList. It is a task that is highly time consuming. There are some difficulties in maintaining a web site, up todate. It costs to own/maintain a web. Usually wealth/money is not associated with vaithikas. In 70's Sri Somadeva sarma did not have much money to publish vaithika works, he wrote. Still many people don't own a computer or know how to look for information online. Only youngsters, especially back home (India) who are familiar with modern technology browse web for information. adiyen comes across many youngsters who have thirst vaidika knowledge, come forward to learn. 2. In 1990, Srimans. Dr. Yagna Subramanian and Dr. M.G. Prasad of New Jersey made presentations on how to perform a puja at home in Srinivasar temple, Bridgewater, NJ to an audience who wanted to know/learn our rituals. They teach Vedas to a dedicated group of people, even today. It is good to know that there is increase of awareness among current populations to learn our wealth of our sampradayam and vaidika information. Dasan. namO naaraayanaa! *** I am one of the benefited person by Brahma Sri Somadeva Sharma by his three books 1. Sama vedham poorva prayogam 2. Sama Vedham Apara prayogam Part 1 3. Sama Vedha Apara prayogam part 2. Still it is very much helpful for me to refer authenticated quotings. Now there are lot of facilities for interested persons. I myself can give video presentation for any pooja in cd or dvd for interested persons. Many of us are only want to discuss something for time pass. The percentage of actual needy is very less, they will not discuss, they try to get the product in hand with the time spent for discussions. This is not to hurt anybody, but this is my experience. nvs Choose the right car based on your needs. Check out Autos new Car Finder tool.
