This year the month of vaikasi turned to be malai masam. So male

prathama sravano nasyath. Further actually avani avittam falls on 28 th

or 29th August only. Some says that sukra asthamanam is there and so

prathama srAvanam to be done with santhi for sukra. But if we do on

september that santhi is not neede. I would request Vasu vadhyar with a

point that sukra paschime asthamitha sukra on 5th august and poorva

uditha sukra on 23 august itself. So have we to do santhi even if sukra

asthamanam is not ther for the sake that it was mentioned in some

panchamgam

As per my views no need.

Because The Sukra Asthamanam ends on 27-08-2007

and Sukra Udhayam on 28-08-2007.

 

If somebody wish to check about the time of Udhayam

it is arround 11 am so they can do the prathama upakarma

by 11 am which is a apt time also.

 

But for this matter I will not say my opinion is the final.

Now a days, both in Sri Ranganatha Paduka and in Sri Nrusimha Priya they are

giving their decisions.

I advice my clients according to their Aacharya.

 

I could not found any note about Upakarma in Sri Ranganatha Paduka July / AAdi

issue.

 

There is no special note found about Prthama Upakarma in Sri Nrusimha Priya July

/ Aadi issue.

But in the Panjanga Sangraham they simply put August 28 Aavani 11 Sevvai

Powrnami Thithi Yajur Upakarma.
