Rituals-Shradham-Performing Prathyapthikam separtely

Dear Vasu Vadhyarji, Namaskaram,

 

I am in delhi and my elder brother perform our

father's sradh ceremony every year at chennai. My

work prevents me from being present on this sradh day.

What should I do? I was told by someone that all son

if married and live separately should conduct sradham

independently. Is it so? Kindly englighten me.

First of all,

You should perform the shradham individually (not independently).

From the Second year doing shradham separately is 100% correct,

for the sake of convincing alive mother or father gathering at

elder brother's (or any brother's) house and performing the shradham

is in use.
