Rituals-Shradham-Performing Prathyapthikam separtely

Dear Sir,

 

If three brothers are living in the same city and same compound but in different

houses with different kitchens should they perform the shradham seperately ?

 

Will it not reflect disunity among the brothers ?

Though you are living in a same house in three different rooms and doing the

daily cooking separately, it is applicable.

 

Until you are thinking that doing shradham to feed the pithrus

you could not understand / realize it clearly.

 

A big tree may have several branches in its stem and several branches in its

roots. The purpose and function of the root is absorbing minerals from the earth

and holding the tree stem. Likely the purpose and duty of a branch is budding

and bearing leaves, flowers, vegetables and fruits.

No single branch or root will think, " We are all of one main tree, why do we all

have to do all the functions, let the main stem or main root to do it " .

 

I am doing in many houses (who knows well about sastram and sampradayam) still

they are doing shradham collectively in one house, but they will do it in

separate agni with separate pithru swamy and with separate annam, but sharing

the remaining items.
