Sri Sadagopan. Since lunar eclipse occurs on Tuesday, upAkarma should

be observed on Monday. Since USA has 4 time zones unlike India, the

local time

of lunar eclipse can be got from the NASA link.

Please make sure you use Form A where a scroll down window lists

important cities within USA. Gayathri japam should be performed after

moon set or completion of eclipse on Tuesday.

Moksham - 7.24 PM EDT (evening)

(continue fasting after 6.22 AM EDT and can eat after 7.24 PM EDT).

Do not partake food before 9 hours of beginning of eclipse.

Perform Gayatri japam after eclipse concluded or moon set.
