[Vaideekam] Code of conduct within a year

Sri NVS swamin,

It is told that one should not celebrate vivaham or subha karyam within a year.

This is applicable to all brothers of the kartha and their families. Upanayanam

may be performed after 45 days. How is about others like seemantham etc?

Please clarify this.

If Vivaham performed, it can cause to a baby birth at the time of

Apthikam, which will affect it by the theetu. So, there is a

meaning of avoiding marriage for sons, not for daughters.

 

Seemantham is not restricted.
