Clarification Avani Avitam - Gayathri Japam

Avani avittam is different from Gayathri Japam.

Usually the Avani avittam and Gayathri Japam will occur

on successive days in the month of Aavani.

 

the condition for Gayathri japam is only Aavani month and

Krishna paksha prathamai thithi so it will not change for any other reason.

 

the aavani avittam is having multiple conditions so it may vary.

so, you have to do the Gayathri Homam on the specified day

29th August which is common for all Thalai aavani avittam and

usual or normal aavani avittam.
