Respected moderator,

I request swamin to clarify the important Anustanam or ritual conducted on

SubaSweekram ie on 13th day of a person attaining acharya Tiruvadi.

Sarmaslokam of deceased person is read and explained by the Learned.

what is the significance of this sarmasloka.

Recently my mother attained acharya tiruvadi. Is it necessary I

should chant Sloka eveyday Why is it called Sarma Sloka.

We are familiar with the SARMASLOKA rendered by Lord Krishna

May I know how this is different from the one quoted above

I hope I had given clarification for all your question in the below mentioned

audio file.

Kind enough to download and here.

It is about one hour, which can not be given in text format.

Sharma Sloka means the Sloka which is more or less as a essence of a total

Episode or whole play.

Or which may be the climax or end of a thing.

In the sharma sloka card, the slokam will be made with the details of the

demised persons personal details like, name, gothram, father's name (Husband's

name) thithi, Vaara, Nakshathra, Paksha, Maadha, Samvathsara at the time of

death. And his Acharya who is cause for

the person's " Paramapadha praapthi " .

The sidhandha vishayams will be given in the upanyasam.

Now a days, even most of the scholars are describing about the individuals past

life and character instead of Sidhantha.
