Sri Vaasu Vadhyar,

Namaskaram.

I have been a quiet but attentive member of this forum for several months, and

find it very informative and helpful.

I have just recently become engaged, and will be getting married next year.

However, with my wedding looming, I am under the impression that this

nithyakarma will be replaced with aupasanam and other karmas as I enter

grhasthashramam.

At which point will a Brahmachaari be able to perform Samitha Dhanam? WIll it

be until the morning of his wedding?

What other nithyakarmas (if any) are prescribed once someone gets married?

Yours humbly,

Sreekanth

The Samidhadhanam comes to end at the morning of the wedding day of a

brahmachari.

Your second question is not clear for me. I hope you are asking any other karma

which ends with brahmacharyam?

There is no other karma like that.

But some signs and custom getting changes,

Poonal 1 >> 2

Veshti 1 >> 2

Dhandam >> No dhandam

Munjai or Mekalai >> no

Ajina dharanam >> no

Not allowed for cosmetics >> fully allowed.

Bhitksha Annam only >> Can be cooked.

not to save money or material >> can be saved

etc.

nvs
