Guest guest
SrI: srimate ramanujaya namaha Sri Ranjan, gayatri & vyaahruti samam are recited before reciting first verse from each veda. Being a Sama Vedi, adiyen performs brahma yagnam for before pitru tarpanam and also sometime on weekends. For Sama upakarma, veda arambam is a variation of brahma yagnam (added some more mantram on the top of mantrams for Brahma yagnam) brahma yagnam as adiyen knows (for Sama vedam): achamanam prAnAyAmam sankalpam gayatri samam (if you do not know the recommendation is to say praNavam) vyAruti samam (bhu: bhuva: shuva: satyam purusha:) gayatri mantram (ruk) recitation of first verse from each vedam -namo brahmane.. ( three times) vrushtirasi ... deva, rshi (pitru) tarpaNam karishye first deva tarpaNam, rshi tarpanam (pitru tarpaNam - 3 times) achamanam. (For Sama Vedam - upAkarma procedure with mantram in Samskrit on line at http://www.sadagopan.org/va/Rajaji%201.pdf) dasan.
