[Vaideekam] doubt on mahAlaya tharpaNam

Adiyen has got some doubts and seeking clarification.

During mahalayapaksham how the following pithrus to be pronounced.

 

Pithru vargam:

Grand father's elder brother, his son, son's wife.

 

Mathru vargam : Grand father's brothers, their sons, son's wives.

Mother's elder brother, younger brother.

Nothing special in that, I tried to use sanskrit unicode font.

Making images and attaching it are very time taking process which I am not

interested. Also our group will not accept any attachments, because, if we give

the important messages in the attachment, in future, the attachment will not be

Some saya that karunya pithrun is not necessary to pronounce by a

prapannan.

Only in sankalpam say karunya pithrunam thruptyartham tila tarpanam

karishye and proceed as normal amavasya tarpanam. Is it correct. is

there any spl manthra to be recited for karunya pithrun and their names

and gothrams ?

The kaaruNya pitrus are nothing but, brothers and their patnis of our three

generation pitrus of both father side, and mother side.

 

Pithruvyan = Father's brother

Madhulan = mother's brother

the manthram is : " pithruvya maathulaadhi vargadvaya kaaruNya pithrun / pithru

patnee: --aavaahayami / tharpayaami.

 

The book published by " Visishtaadvaida prachariNi sabha " , Sri Desika Vidya

Bhavanam,Mylapore, Chennai, in the year 1982 called " Sri Vaishnava Dinacharyai "

by Sri. Ue.Ve. Vidwan, Paiyambadi Setlur, V. Srivathsaangaachar - in page number

212,

 

It is cleanly mentioned about the Aavaahana manthrams for kaaruNya pitrus

separately.
