Respected Moderator,

 

There are two views regarding Celebration of Newly constructed flat

or house. Some say it should be performed only after fully completed and some

say this can be performed with half completion. if half completed is permissible

whether it can be done without putting Flooring or plastring..

I shall be thankful if clarification is issued at what stage Nuthana

Grahapravesam is be conducted.

People are often confusing themselves and as well as others.

 

There are two stages in this prayogam like Pumsavanam and Seemantham.

Graha Sammanam and Gruahapravesam

We are combinedly doing both Seemantham and Gruhapravesam.

Whenever we combine two or more karmas, the procedures and

conditions and restrictions to be kept for the final one.

 

So, if strictly speaking, after gruhapravesam one should continue

to live in that house from that day.

But it is not that much rigid or ofence of shastra, so, it can be

admitted to do any time after roofing.
