Guest guest
I could not understand the argument, because immediately after the completion of the Tharpanam the food (annam) can be taken. Or If you don't have time to sit and eat in urgency, it can be carried with you to take in the leisure time. Where is the question of not taking 'annam'? Let it be. I hope, that you have got a little pleasure by adding myself also in the list. Here I got the chance to explain few lines about me. Before that I wish to clarify one thing, anything pointed out from sastram is applicable not only for others, it will be applicable for me also. I am giving much preference to Anushtanams than my profession, For example, I will not go for Tharpanam not even a single person, because I feel it is difficult to be in empty stomach from morning 5 am [(people are doing tharpanam from 4 am) to 10 am, and then I have to take (second)bath and then Aaradhanam and after that I have to do Tharpanam after that I have to eat something] so, I thought it will affect my anushtanam and hence I stopped going out for tharpanam on every Amavasai. It is true and few of the member of this group will know about it. My profession is nature and suitable for anushtanam where ever I be in any duty. Nobody will angry on me or laugh on me for taking time for my anushtanam. More over, we can ask a person as " Nee romba yogyamaa? " but it will not made us as " Yogyan " . nvs On Fri, Mar 7, 2008 at 8:35 PM, venkat chari <venkigopu wrote: > > srI: > Swamin wrote: > You have twice mentioned the phrase " Udyoga nimittam " , which can not be > considered by sastram, because the 'Udiyogam' you are mentioning is not > suggested by sastram for a brahmanan > > Sure. Guest guest
Respected swamin i read all the comments and reactions in vaideekam group. i would like to add swamin said few do tharpanam from 4 am. that itself is wrong i suppose. before sunrise doing sandhya and just at the sunrise praatha sandhya upasthaanam is correct. after that only maadhyaahnikam. after that only tharpanam is to be done. even compromising that 'udyoga nimiththam' madhyahnikam is done along with praatha sandhya, around sun rise, to some extent it is ok. *tharpanam also before sunrise? * *then in my opinion it is not tharpanam at all.* ** something else. as it is called pithru kadan - it is a 'kadan' only if every thing is compromised like this, then where is the question of 'aahaara niyamam' . that can also be given a go bye - eat as you please regards MGVasudevan *** And hence, I am not going to do barhaspathyam (vadhyar) for those people, and I am instructing all to learn and do tharpanam on your own atleast after sunrise. nvs
