Guest guest
Most respect Vasu Mama, My daughter is carrying and expected delivery is on Apr 18th. My mother's shraddam falls on Apr 19th. Obviously if the delivery takes place as expected, I will not be able to perform the shraddam. In such a case, I understand I should perform it on the same " tithi " in the following month. Is this okay please confirm. Or can I combine and perform my mother's shraddam along with that of my father (falling due in June 08) both having demised on the same " tithi " i.e. Poornima. With sashtanga Namaskarams, B.K.Srinivasa Ragavan *** Blessings for smooth and painless delivery of your daughter. Let it be. If delivered as per schedule you have only three days theetu, the shradham should be performed on the 4th day. If the delivery is in your residence, you can perform the shradham in some other places. If you have plenty of space to keep your daughter in a separate room, or the delivery is going to take place in a hospital you can perform the shradham in your house itself. No chance of combining the shradham of father and mother in any circumstance. And performing in next thithi is also wrong. nvs
