Guest guest
Dear Vasu Mama, Humble pranams again. Thank you for your eye-opening assistance in such matters. I have recently been blessed to receive a Lakshmi Hayagrivar pancha loha moorthy from my parents. I also have a sri shaligrama perumal who receives tiruaradhanam. My questions (once again, please pardon my naivety) 1. Is there some ritual I should perform to formally install Hayagrivar perumal? Any advise on any specific seva to this perumal? 2. During the Tiru-Aradhanam of Lord Shaligramar, Can I simulataneously do the aradhanam of Sri Hayagrivar? I believe according to the rules of aradhanam, only one or even number from 4 of shaligrama perumals can receive tiru-aradhanam. 3. I also have 2 small thotul Krishnar perumals. Can I perform the tiru-aradhanam of these perumals with the above? Once again, my shasthanga namaskaram to you for your guidance. *** The salagram moorthams are said as available as in the form of ready for pooja which requires any " Prathishtai " (installation as per your language). Vigraha aaradhanam was not advised for gruhasthas, which requires dheeksha from any one of the aagama " Paancharathra " or " Vaikanasa " to perform vigraha aaradhanam, then it is not gruham it will be like a temple, then there comes many formalities like ladies should not cook for those perumals, should perform the poojas without any break in the niyamas as per aagama. You can just keep the vigrahas without any 'prathistai' (installation) and you can treat it as one of the salagrama to perform aaradhanam. This much what I know as per my little knowledge, I hope few members are there with much knowledge to guide/correct you/us further. nvs
