Guest guest
srI: Sri NVS swamin, dasoham. In the part-10, it is said that a married person (male) should wear three yagnopavitam or three vastrams. What are the three vastrams referred here? dhanya vaadaha dasan. *** We will say 10x6 (paththukku aaru) or 9x5 (onbhadhukku anju) The long one is called 'Arai' or Iduppu veshti another short one is called 'Mel' Veshti or uththareeyam. Out of this, Gruhasthan should wear a third one to cove his top body which is called thruthiya vasthram. For that we can wear one more poonal in the place of thiruthiya vasthram. nvs
