Guest guest
Dear sirs Here are my views. The reply given should be acceptable to one and all is not to be the prime condition. If any difference of opinion arise we should consult elders and genius to get more relevant and acceptible reply according to rhe pertod of origin and other situations. Acoording to usage some may change which is inevitable. For that purpose we should not hide the original texts. As told by vedantha desikan " Vedantha variyan yenriyamba ninrom nAm periyomallom nAm nandrum thIthum namakkuraippar ularendru naduvome, othi unarnthavar pAl adikkadiyum kettayarvu thIrmineeray " etc., So pl continu and incase of difficulty to translat u may explicitly send the original text in grantha or terlugu and we will try to translate even with samayochitha budhdhi as appothoru chinthai cheytae " Dasan Srinasan *** Mr.Srinivasan, I always found some doubt/distrust in your messages, which disturbs me. I clearly mentioned many times in my previous message, and in the article I sent today, that I am giving the same text as it is in the book published by Sri.Muthuswamy Iyer in the year 1937. You are asking for the originals to translate in Tamil which is already in Tamil. We have adequate facility and Pandits like Dr.Krishnamachari Ex.Principal of Srimath Andavan's Ranganatha paduka vidhyalaya,(he is being with me almost always), Dr.Padmanabhan professor Sanskrit Dept., Dr.Narasimhachari and so many to translate anything to Tamil from any south Indian language or Sanskrit, or Grantham. The text you have given insists me, " That you are a great personality, I should approach you often to know about the good and bad " . I don't know who are you, and what is your capacity, because there was no message or article received by this group yet. If the members of this group feels that I am wrong, I am ready to leave the moderator post at once. dasan, nvs

Guest guest
SrI: Dear Sriman SrinivAsAcchAr Swamy : Many Thanks for your spirited defense of the rationale for Dharma Saastrams and your kind remarks about any small contributions that adiyEn might have made or will make . As one who has been blessed to recieve the advanced degree in Technology ( Doctor of Science) from the world's top Engineering School in USA , Massachusets Institute of Technology and being trained as a Scientist with links to IBM Resrach Division for more than 25 years and with an Year's service at the United Nations in USA and Switzerland , I still feel more at home with the AchAram-anushtAnam based insightful upadEsams of our Dharma Saastrams. I admire the advances in Information Technology , Molecular Genetics , Space flights , nano technologies and other miracles that have been blessings from the scientific/Technological world since that is part of my Educational background . Inspite of it all , the simplicity and the high mindedness of our AchArya PurushAs guiding us thru Aahnikam , sishtAchAram and Dharma Saastrams with our hitham in mind moves me much more although I am deficient in many ways .Independent of wherever and what I am , my ancient roots go back by instinct as it were to villages and dhivya dEsams in India , where my ancestors come from and have led simple but high minded lives . One SrI Gramam like NaavalpAkkam can tip the scales over the wealth of Middle East and USA anytime . Sriman DheevaLUr Swamy and myself had some discussions about the sensitivities of releasing verbatim the summary of Dharma Saastrams by Brahma Sri Mutthuswamy Iyer . I am so glad to see the mail of Sriman DheevaLUr Swamy . We find rarely in this world a blessed person of his calibre to sacrifice so much of his time , energy ,health and wealth to share the deep knowledge of our ancient traditions and to encourage AasthikAs to follow them to the best of our abilities without expecting anything in return . The most heartening thing is his comfort with mulimedia Technologies to communicate and build the bridges towards a global community of AasthikAs . We are indeed grateful to him for his selfless services and pray to the dhivya dampathis to bless him with long life and excellent health to engage in such Kaimkaryams . Vedams are timeless . The dharma Saastrams rooted in VedAs are equally eternal since these reflect the commands of SarvEswaran . Knowing about them is the first step. Trying to follow them to the best of one's ability is the next step . Doubts of fitness as an adhikAri can and will assail one based on the age we live in . So be it ! Let us gain an appreciation of these dharma Saasthrams and reflect on their SookshmArtams in private / public discussions to enrich our extended awareness since there are some sensitive areas realting to Men and women and the unit of Family . In conclusion , let me share a deep belief that I have : Every society is judged by how it treats its Children , Women and older persons . Our society as reflected in Dharma sAstrams has led the way here and it is a pity that we discard them and rush headlong into all kinds of troubles . That includes myself ! Guest guest
Dear Sir In the creation of Almighty no other creations except the human being think whether to do a thing or not and they continue to do the things they are ordained by the Almighty. You are ordained by the Almighty to do good service through bringing to the door of all laukeekas the karmanushtanams and shasthrams. Hence please do not bother about the appreciations or criticisms but continue to do your karma as you think fit as Geethacharya said. Guest guest
Dear sirs I always found some doubt/distrust in your messages, which disturbs me. >>>> That is only to clarify others who were not clarified with the explanations in case of misunderstandings. The text you have given insists me, "That you are a great personality, >>> NO body in this world is great personality in vedas / sastras etc., nowadays always I should approach you often to know about the good and bad". >>> Only in case of necessity Not always If the members of this group feels that I am wrong, I am ready to leave the moderator post at once. >>>> Todays momentary wrong will become right next moment. Guest guest
Dear VaAsu Mama, Thank you very much for the simple explanation given in a nice way. This will help me to understand the basics well. When my wife read this, she was so happy and it was an eye opener for her also and she vowed to adhere to this as much as possible. Infact, reading dharama sastram itself gives much pleasure and am sure living this life by following it fully will be really great one as Sadagopan Swamy rightly mentioned that what money or other items cannot get, our vedas can give it in no time.. Please continue your great service and pray to the alimighty to give you all the strength to carry out this service.
