respectively.

In Aasoucha periods (theettu), Gayatri Japam is to be performed for 10 times.

a) Ashtothra sahasra vaaram - 1008

b) Ashtothra satha vaaram - 108

c) Ashtavimsathi vaaram - 28

then the sankalpam can be done as :

yatha shakthi Gayathri manthra japam karishye!

Though it is time specific Gayathri should be counted and should be ended at 8

after any hundred.
