Devareer swamins,

 

Adiyen has doubts on performing sandhyavandhanam and aradhana:

 

i) I am told that during ordinary theetu days ie during the times of wife's menstural days or during pradosha kalams, - ashtakshara japam. that is normally performed after Gayathri japam - should be avoided. In such a case, what about chanting ashtakshara nama at the end of sandhyavandhanam ? And general chanting of ashtaksara nama at other times during these periods ?

 

ii) Then during ijyaa aradhana, for buthasuddhi etc., what about the payanama ( chanting ashtakshara nama ) rules ?

 

Adiyen shall be grateful to learn right aspects related to these angas.

I could not understand the relationship between wife's periods and husbands

Ashtakshara japam.

May be these type of doubts will be cleated at the time of circulation of Ahniga

Kaandam of Dhrama Shastram shortly. (After Upakarma).
