Guest guest
 Dear Shri Vasu Vadhyar,   Namaskaram   I have a question with regard to my elder brother who died sometime ago. He was married  but had no children and our family details are as given below : Brother elder died under natural causes ( as mentioned above ) Father passed away a year after my brother's death. Mother is alive. I have one sister.  I am the only son now and I continue to perform my father srardham annually.   Question : Do I perform any srardham for my elder brother ?                   If not, is there anything that needs to be performed or done on that thithi ?   Dasan With best Regards K. Vasudevan *** There is one more question to be answered. Who did the kainkaryam at the time of his death? If you did it, getting power (kaipill) from your 'manni' then your 'manni' is kartha. Otherwise if did it on your own, then you will be the kartha and you should continue to do that shradham also till the end of your life. " Jyeshta bhraathaa pithru samaanaa: " " Elder brothe is equal to father " So, if you did it on your own, it is the perfect dharmam and great. nvs
