Why there are Prathi vachanams during any swasthi manthrams. Even before Punyahavachanam, we have vachanams such as

"Swaminaha Mana samaadheeyathaam. ..".

There should be some specific reason for that. Can you kindly educate us in this regard?

Adhu maadhiri, etherkum oru prathi vachanam irundhadhaan swarasyamaa irukkum.

As per sastram,

if agreed / accepted by four or more Vidvat Brahmins,

a thing / matter gets the acceptance of sastram.

It means, Vitvat brahmins will not accept a Sastra virodha thing.

MOre over,

we might have heard that "Brahmanah Vakku palichuthuda" ,

so, that we are getting blessings from elders, the blissful asirvadhams of elders will mostly bring us prosperities.

Also there is a saying,

there are so many devadas are there, one among is called "dhathastu" devada. Those devatas will always say 'dhathaastu' repeatedly.

'dhathaastu" means 'let it be like that', "Appadiye aahak kadavadhu".

Swasti vachanam is nothing but a beautiful "Kadhyam" prepared with lot of mangala applications, requests etc.

In the swasti vaachanam,

Adada, adha (swasthiya) periya vidwan swamigal nalla shabda jNaanththoda

sonnaaa innikkellaam kettuNdeeee irukkalaaam.

Many best and precious desires and ambitions will be compiled / coined with sweet, taste and rhythmic tune..

This couple (for whom the function is) should be like so and so (who is reached the peak of that particular subject).

For example:

"imow dhampathi bhaarathi brahmaaNaaviva dheerghaayushau, Lakshmi naaraayaNaaviva niroga suga shareerau, Rathigandharpaaviva parasparam pungaanu punga prema rasa paripoorNau, indraagneeviva phaalaadtyau, Asvinaaviva svaroopiNau ....

Athellaam oru kaalam, ippallam aasirvaadha panjadhi kooda yaarum ethir paarkaradhillai.

....mmm...., yen ayushukku thirumba antha maadhiri oru kaalam varumaaaaaaaaaaaaaa a???!!!!
