My dear Swamin, Can you please explain the significance of Placing Sri

Chatari on the shoulders of Adiyars. If this question involves any

abhacharam that may kindly be condoned. Dasan-kannan

Placing The Emperuman's Thiruvadi on our head is the greatest bhagyam.

Satari is the " Thiruvadi " of Emperuman.

Satari will be placed in the head and shoulder only for Swamis with Shikai

(kudumi) for others placed only on the head.

And Nammazhvar is the 'Thiruvadi' of Emperuman as per Vaishnava Sampradayam and

hence the name 'Satagopan' of Nammazhvar is used for it as Satari.
