Festivals before Performance of Abdigam Clarification required

   Respected Swamin,

 

          My mother expired on 18th Aug 2007 ie Avani 1st. but Abdigam

falls 0n Sept 4th

 after completion of 12 months ie 13th month with the result that we want to

know

whether we have to skip again second time  Festivals such as Avaniavittam and

Krishne JAYANTI as we have already not observed these Pandigais in 2007

Kindly clarify.

If the death happens at the junction of a Tamil month, sometimes it happens.

Prayoga sastram itself made by considering this.

 

Some times people will enjoy, without skipping festival not even one time, due

to location of that festival in that Tamil month.

 

So, we should keep us ready to accept anything with pleasure.
