the FIRST YEAR if it falls after 10 days theetu

Respected Swamin, My mother expired on 18th Aug 2007 ie Avani 1st. but Abdigam falls 0n Sept 4th after completion of 12 months ie 13th month with the result that we want to knowwhether we have to skip again second time Festivals such as Avaniavittam and Krishne JAYANTI as we have already not observed these Pandigais in 2007 Kindly clarify. Sri:UpAkarma (Avani Avittam/Gayatri Japam) these are not for pleasure. To adiyen's knowledge, these rituals are not skipped because of a death in the family.
